Play Your Talent ApS (hereinafter referred to as “PYT”) is responsible for protecting the personal data you provide to us and entrust to our processing, in accordance with applicable legislation.
This privacy policy outlines how PYT responsibly and confidentially processes your personal data.
This privacy policy applies to all PYT products, such as:

The PlayYourTalent app for Android and iOS
The PlayYourStrategy app for Android and iOS
PlayYourTalent websites and services
And all other services offered by PYT

What Personal Data Do We Process?

When using PYT’s software solutions, the following personal data is processed:

Name
Email
Gender
Age
Job title
Talent profile based on analysis of your responses

Additionally, you may voluntarily upload a profile picture. This picture will only be accessible to you, your colleagues, and your managers. It will be processed and securely stored via Firebase, a service provided by Google. These images are used solely as a visual representation of your account within PYT products and will not be subjected to further processing to derive additional data.

If you voluntarily provide other personal data, we will process this information as relevant. The data is processed only to the extent necessary, sufficient, and relevant to fulfilling our obligations to you in relation to your interaction with us.

Purpose of Data Collection and Processing

PYT processes your personal data to provide the best possible service, including:

Identifying users of the software solutions and analyzing their talents
Granting access to administrators and/or managers in your organization so they can view and use your talent profile within the organization
Notifying you of changes to our service
Providing support

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your data in accordance with applicable laws, including the GDPR.
This means we must have a legal basis for processing your personal data.
We process your data on the following legal grounds:

When we have obtained your consent for processing your personal data for one or more specific purposes.
When processing is necessary to fulfill a contract that you or your organization has with us.
When processing is necessary for compliance with legal obligations.
When processing is necessary for pursuing our legitimate interests.

Retention Period & Deletion of Data

Data is retained for the duration permitted by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary for processing.
Internally, PYT has established deadlines for deleting or periodically reviewing data processed as a data controller. These deadlines are determined based on the nature and context of the data.

If you wish to delete your account, please follow these steps:

In the app:

Open the menu.
Tap on “Profile.”
Tap “Delete profile” to confirm the deletion of your profile.

Alternatively, you can email us your account details, and we will initiate the account deletion process. Upon deletion, PYT will erase all associated user data unless retention is required for legitimate reasons, such as security or legal compliance.

Security

PYT has implemented organizational and technical measures to protect all personal data we process. These measures safeguard your personal data from loss, manipulation, and unauthorized access. We continually adapt our security measures to keep pace with technological advancements.

Recipients of Your Personal Data

Your personal data is processed confidentially and shared with third parties only when necessary and justified to ensure optimal processing of your data. Disclosure occurs solely if required or permitted under law, contractual agreements, or as a condition for entering into an agreement.

PYT collaborates with third parties to deliver and optimize our software solutions. These third parties are obligated to process personal data on behalf of PYT and are prohibited from using it for their purposes. Processing is conducted solely in accordance with our objectives and instructions.

To ensure high data security, PYT only works with third parties that are subject to the same rules as us or have committed to following equivalent rules for the secure processing of personal data.

Under data protection regulations, you have several rights regarding our processing of your personal data:

Right of Access: You have the right to access the data we process about you.
Right to Rectification: You have the right to have inaccurate data about you corrected.
Right to Erasure: By deleting your profile in our software solutions, your personal data will automatically be deleted.
Additionally, in certain cases, you have the right to request deletion of your data before our standard deletion timeline.
Right to Restriction of Processing: In certain cases, you can request that the processing of your personal data is restricted.
Right to Object: In certain cases, you can object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. You also have the right to object to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes.
Right to Data Portability: In certain cases, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and to have it transferred from one data controller to another without hindrance.
Withdrawal of Consent: When our processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent.
