What personal data do we process?

When using PYT’s software solutions, the following personal data is processed:

Gender
Age
Position
Talent profile based on the analysis of responses

If you voluntarily provide other personal data, we will also process that information to the extent necessary and relevant.

The information is processed only to the extent that is sufficient, relevant, and always limited to what is necessary to fulfill our obligations to you regarding your interaction with us.

Purpose of collecting and processing information

PYT processes your personal data to provide the best possible service, including:

Identifying users of the software solution and analyzing their talents.
Providing access to administrators and/or managers in your organization so they can view and use your talent profile within the organization.
Notifying you of changes to our service.
Providing support.

Legal basis for processing

We process your information only in accordance with applicable law, including GDPR. This means that we must have a legal basis for processing your personal data.

Thus, we process your information based on the following legal grounds:

When we have received your consent for processing your personal data for one or more specific purposes.
When processing is necessary for the performance of a contract you or your organization has with us.
When processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws.
When processing is necessary to pursue our legitimate interests.

Retention period of information

The information is retained for the period allowed by law, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary to process.

Internally, PYT has established deadlines for deletion or periodic review of data processed as a data controller. Such deadlines are determined based on the nature and background of the information.

This includes measures to protect your personal data from loss, manipulation, and unauthorized access. We continuously adapt our security measures to keep up with technological developments.

By deleting your profile in one of our software solutions, your personal data will be automatically deleted. You also have the right in certain cases to have information about you deleted before the time of our regular general deletion occurs.

In certain cases, you have the right to object to our otherwise lawful processing of your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to object to the processing of your information for direct marketing purposes.

If we process your personal data based on a contract with our client (typically your workplace or institution), please contact the organization that invited you as a user of our solution to exercise your rights.

In-App Data Collection Disclosure

PYT is committed to transparency and ensuring that our users understand how their data is collected, used, and shared. This section outlines the specific details regarding the collection of users’ image information within our apps.

Collection of Image Information

When using PYT’s software solutions, users have the option to voluntarily upload an image to be used as a profile picture. This image will only be available to the user, their coworkers, and their managers within the organization. It will be processed and securely stored via Firebase, a service provided by Google.

Purpose and Usage

Uploaded images are solely used as a visual representation of the user’s account within PYT’s products. These images are not subjected to any processing aimed at extrapolating additional data. They are used to personalize user profiles within the app and facilitate user recognition within the organizational context.

At PYT, we prioritize the safety and security of our users’ data. In addition to the disclosures made in this privacy policy, we are committed to providing clear and accurate information regarding the collection, use, and sharing of user data. Below, we outline our data safety practices:

Collection of User Data: We collect personal data such as name, email, gender, age, and talent profile for the purposes outlined in this privacy policy.
Use of User Data: Personal data is used to provide our services, including identifying users, analyzing talents, providing relations with colleagues and managers, notifying users of service changes, and providing support.
Sharing of User Data: We may share personal data with third parties only as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy and with the user’s consent.

Prominent Disclosure

PYT acknowledges the importance of providing users with clear and comprehensive information regarding the collection of image information. To ensure transparency, we provide a prominent in-app disclosure that comprehensively explains how image information is collected, used, and shared within our app. This disclosure is displayed within the normal usage of the app and does not require users to navigate into a menu or settings to access it.

User Consent

Before collecting or accessing users’ image information, PYT seeks affirmative consent from users. Users are presented with clear and unambiguous language requesting consent for the collection of image information. This consent is required before the app begins to collect or access users’ image information.

Handling User Navigation

PYT ensures that navigating away from the disclosure (e.g., tapping away, pressing the back or home button) is not interpreted as consent. Users are required to actively provide consent through affirmative actions, such as tapping to accept or checking a checkbox.

Implementation Timing

User consent must be obtained before PYT’s app begins to collect or access users’ image information. The consent process precedes any data collection activities.

By providing this detailed disclosure and obtaining affirmative consent from users, PYT aims to ensure transparency and compliance with Google Play’s User Data policy regarding the collection of image information within our app.

Handling of Personal and Sensitive User Data:

PYT values the privacy and security of our users and is committed to handling personal and sensitive user data responsibly. In addition to the data mentioned in previously, we recognize the importance of transparently disclosing the handling of personal and sensitive user data, including but not limited to personally identifiable information, device location, and health data.

We confirm that the data we collect and handle is outlined in this document and is voluntarily added by the users. In addition we do not collect or handle any further data such as, but not limited to: financial or payment information, authentication information, phonebook, contacts, SMS and call-related data, inventory of other apps on the device, microphone, camera, or other sensitive device or usage data.

We do not sell personal and sensitive user data to third parties.

Account Deletion Requirement:

PYT recognizes the importance of providing users with the ability to delete their accounts and associated data. If you wish to delete your account, please follow the steps below:

Within the app:

Tap the hamburger menu to open it.
Tap on your own name.
Tap on the trash can icon in the top right corner.
Tap “Delete profile” to confirm the deletion of your profile.

Outside the app:

Send us an email with an appropriate subject/name, and we will initiate the process of deleting the account. Upon account deletion, PYT will delete all associated user data, except where retention is necessary for legitimate reasons such as security, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
